The bolt’s property class sets the load of the joint: 5.8 is enough for ordinary structures, 8.8 and higher for critical joints and flanges. Nuts are chosen in the same class, washers by diameter and purpose: flat, large, spring lock washers. For concrete and brick, choose an anchor or wall plug for the base material and load.
