How thick should the sheet be for a tank or hopper?

Wall thickness is calculated from volume, pressure and medium, but small open tanks usually take 4–6 mm sheet, and hoppers for abrasive material 8–12 mm or wear-resistant steel. Send a sketch and we will suggest the thickness and grade.
