Штамповые стали делятся на стали для холодного деформирования — высокохромистые Х12, Х12МФ и Х12Ф1, износостойкие после закалки до 58–62 HRC, — и для горячего деформирования — 5ХНМ, 4Х5МФС, 4Х4ВМФС, 3Х2В8Ф, сохраняющие прочность при нагреве до 600–700 °C.
Из круга штамповых сталей изготавливают матрицы и пуансоны вырубных штампов, накатные ролики, пресс-формы для литья алюминия, ковочные штампы и прошивные иглы. Поставляем круг и поковки по ГОСТ 5950-2000 в отожжённом состоянии.

Х12МФ — сталь для холодного деформирования: очень твёрдая и износостойкая, но теряет свойства при нагреве. 5ХНМ — сталь для горячих штампов: менее твёрдая, но вязкая и сохраняет прочность при высоких температурах.
