Такая изоляция работает при 155–180 °C, поэтому провода используют для обмоток тяговых и крановых электродвигателей, генераторов, сухих трансформаторов и электрических машин, которые работают с перегрузками. Индекс «КТ» означает кремнийорганический лак и уменьшенную толщину изоляции.
