Калиброванная сталь получается холодным волочением горячекатаного проката. Она точна по размерам, имеет чистую гладкую поверхность и повышенную прочность от наклёпа, поэтому её ставят прямо на токарные автоматы, используют для валов, осей, штоков, крепежа и деталей без обдирки.
Поставляем калиброванный круг по ГОСТ 7417-75, квадрат по ГОСТ 8559-75 и шестигранник по ГОСТ 8560-78 из сталей 10, 20, 35, 45, 40Х, автоматных А12 и АС40, с допуском h9, h10 и h11, в прутках 3–6 м.

Калиброванная сталь протянута через фильеру в холодном состоянии: у неё в несколько раз точнее размеры, гладкая поверхность без окалины и выше прочность. Горячекатаная дешевле, но требует обдирки.
